What the 2026 format actually tests

Two tasks. Two distinct skills. Both measurable.

Task 1
Listen & Repeat
Short-term memory control
Can you hold phrase-level content long enough to reproduce it with the same rhythm, cadence, and speed as the model? That's cognitive control under time pressure, not pronunciation, not vocabulary. The fix is a specific listening posture, not a memory technique. We work on it directly.
Task 2
Interview
Extemporaneous fluency
You need to speak naturally at around 150 words per minute, stay on topic, and minimize hesitation, with zero prep time. Templates won't carry you anymore. It depends on organized thinking in real time. Your dimension scores tell us exactly where the breakdown is happening.

It means the target of this coaching sprint is a measurable increase of 1 full band in TOEFL Speaking. This is not framed as vague improvement. It is framed as a concrete score result.
What happens if I do not improve by 1 full band? +
You get a second week free. Simple. The idea is alignment. I am not selling time. I am selling focused score movement.
